The Unofficial Halloween Episode

One of my biggest regrets about the end of TR is that we never got to do a Halloween Episode. It is easily the favorite holiday of both Alex and myself as you can probably tell by past posts about our decorations. Unintentionally we did two kind of creepy episodes towards the end of our run and, as luck and scheduling would have it, they ended up in the same half hour. One is about zombie robots of historical figures. (Don't ask.) The other features a evil ventriloguist dummy and his army of puppets. I've always loved evil puppet stories and am quite pleased with the twist we put on this genre.

Oh, that's a real shame T-T since I saw "A Jenny for All Seasons" (which aired just last weekend) I thought there would be a Halloween special... guess we won't have the privilige of seeing it then :(
Coincidentally Halloween is my favourite holiday (along of course for the Mexican Day of the Dead) ^^

Oh, and the puppets look really cool :D particularly the harlequinesque one in the last image :) thanks for showing us all this Mr. Renzetti!

Sincerely - J.R.

Hmmmm, Evil Puppets. You must have seen "Pinochio" too many times as a kid.

I like Halloween also; too bad that I got too old to go trick or treating-- my neighbors recognized me!

But seriously, it may explain why Jenny was a Robot in the first place. (Freudian Slip or something)

Hey, what is going to happen to all those wonderful decorations and things? Ebay auction?
(Hint, hint)

Any chance that "Mina and the Count" will see daylight? Janice would be a good choice as Mina and the guy who played "Gigawatt" is a natural for the Count.

I still hope that Nick is reading this and taking note that we are suggesting that MLaaTR should move to Cartoon Network.

Best of Luck in whatever is your next endeavor

Creepy puppets!... but funny.
That pseudo-robot looks like a zombie but... is it dead or alive?
It's time to see Mr. G.Petto again!!! ;)

these are great.

My favorite holiday has always been Halloween too! what a shame though it would have been an absolute dream to see a TRUE MLAATR HAlloween episode.

god I am drooling on my keyboard just thinking about it.

P.S. Any chance that Alex woudl consider putting up a personal art blog of his own??? I would really enjoy seeing more of his greta artwork as I think he is one of the top designers working today.

Zombie robots? Whoa! That sounds like some of our scary roleplays. They have Zombies in it. Lil Acron looks good. Whose the voice? Rob Paulsen? Dee Bradly Baker? I think Rob Paulsen is a good idea. One of the puppets could be voiced by Tom Kenny or Jim Cummings. That purple puppet with the googly eyes and pear-shaped nose looks like an homage to Jim Henson. There some SESAME STREET reference in our rps that ended up as deleted scenes. I found some PINOCCIO reference again (the first time was in "Toying with Jenny"). Keep up the good work!

BTW, I found a Strong Bad Email written by that Wakeman robot:

Glad to see you back Rob!

Yeah, it's a real shame that the show was cut down in its prime. I wish that I could've seen a Halloween ep!

BTW, is there any chance I could send fan art to you? Contact me on my website.

Is it my imagination or does Lil Acorn has a disturbing resemblence to Alex Kirwan?

Tell Nickelodeon to uncancel the show, or you'll sing the song. [reference to the episode you're showcasing in this blog post]
